College Admissions Essay Coaching
The college application process can be daunting for anyone. Even after you choose the schools to which you’ll apply, there are still so many forms to fill out and essays to write.
With my help as a college admissions essay coach, I can take a load off your shoulders. The schools you’re applying to require a lot of of essays. These include the longer Common Application essay and individual questions required by your schools. I’ll help you think through the best answers that fit you and the schools you’re interested in.
As a graduate of a top-tier college, I’m familiar with how to shape an excellent applications essay. Further, as a former teacher at the college level, I know the kinds of writing and experiences students bring with them to college.
Depending on your needs, I’ll do more than just read your essay once through, checking off glaring grammatical problems—unless that’s all you really want. In the best case, I’ll work with you like a coach, showing you where you’re on the right track and where you can make a stronger statement. We’ll go over drafts together and work carefully to ensure that you put your best foot forward in your essays.
